Farnitra M. Cleckley

Farnitra M. Cleckley was born in Orangeburg, South Carolina; to Robert Lee Jamison and Alberter Kirkland. She graduated from Strayer University in 2010, with a Bachelor of Business in Administration. She is a God-fearing woman; who is dedicated to her Christian faith and values. Therefore, she obtained her Ministry license and received her Master’s of Religious Education at Liberty University. Her vision for her life was to open a daycare with her degree. However, that was not the vision and destiny that God had in mind for her. “For my thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord” (Isaiah 55:8).

God told her to open a Christian lounge that would be placed in the heart of Charlotte, NC. God told her that this lounge was to become a place where Christians would enjoy themselves; without having to compromise their Christian values. It was also clear that this lounge would become a pinnacle vessel; to exhibit to the world that enjoying life and living for Christ is possible.

It was evident that this Christian lounge had been tasked with a mission; to draw souls to Christ. In her obedience on the vision God gave her, she knew it would become a reality. God instructed her that the name of his vision would be called, Uptown Christian Mingle Lounge. UCML is not just merely an upscale, relaxing, and new exciting business endeavor; but an assignment filled with purpose. She is dedicated, motivated, and passionate about changing the lives of others. Her hope is that this lounge would change the lives of her local communities; which would later expand to change lives nationwide.
